Eames Institute

The Eames Institute of Infinite Curiosity exists to share the work of Ray & Charles Eames. With its archives in Richmond, CA, online Magazine, Kazam!, and social presence, the Eames Institute aims to inspire a new generation of designers with lessons from the leaders of mid-century design. I worked with their team on the writing and production of digital content.

Evergreen Content

Working with a small team, the Eames Institute asked me to jump in and guide the strategy and production of a library of assets they could pull from throughout the year. I worked closely with the art director and collections team to produce 4 newsletters, 24 Instagram posts, and 6 LinkedIn posts that the team could drop into their social calendar at any point. I leaned on storytelling, highlighting both rare and iconic pieces from the archives, the work of the collections team, and lessons from the Eameses design ethic that helped our audience understand the mission of the Eames Institute overall.

Kazam! Magazine

Kazam! is the Eames Institute’s digital magazine that carries on the legacy of Ray and Charles Eames by telling stories from their career as well as profiling current designers who are shaping their field. I guided the strategy for the social presence of our editorial content, producing promotional material for each feature. This included video production, photo selection, selection of excerpts and quotes, and caption writing. I also collaborated closely with the art director on the creation of static and video assets.

Pinterest Launch

The Eames Institute wanted to reach a wider audience and spread awareness of their work among design enthusiasts and professionals. I led the launch of their presence on Pinterest, translating exhibitions, archival material, and editorial content into a series of curated boards, guiding SEO, imagery, and overall social strategy.
